Intro Post

Hi guys! My name is Emily and I'm a senior in high school. I love to read, swim, cook, and hang out with my friends. I've been dating my wonderful girlfriend Joan, for six months, but in a few weeks we'll have hit the seventh month mark! My favorite color is pink and my favorite princess is Ariel. I'm planning on going to college next year for education and social work. I love animals and I volunteer with cats. I especially love sea creatures-my favorite one is a beluga. I have many problems with mental illness, which I keep under control with therapy and medication.
On this blog, I'm hoping to write enough so I can keep my mind in order. I like to write to figure things out, and to understand what's happening in life and where I am going.
